Project Brief :
To understand and apply design tools to define the main activity of design and development, formulation of design criteria, conceptualisation, actual realisation and communication in context of Solapur Wall Hangings.
About the Collection :
Taking inspiration from the concept of ‘evil eye’ and ‘good luck charms’ my team members and I designed a collection encompasses symbols which makes one feel the emotions beyond them. Inspired from Indian and Scandinavian aesthetic,the product designs carve out a path into the realm of SATTVA vibrations, depicting a sense of wholeness and positivity. These space dividers provide privacy as well as create an aura of mindfulness. The raw materials consisting of natural elements such as cotton yarn and wooden rods are a step towards conscious living. The warm hues with a hint of blue and green give us a sense of togetherness, an enchanting combination of warmth with calmness.
