Hello!
I am Aditi Sharma, a multidisciplinary design strategist, researcher, and visual storyteller.
Rooted in systems thinking and a deep love for creative storytelling, my work is driven by design as a force for social good - focused on fostering equity and sparking joy.
I hold an M.F.A in Design for Sustainability from Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). My graduate thesis explored the intersection of social sustainability, design, and neurodiversity through a lens of art and play.
Currently, I am the Communications Coordinator for the Early School Success initiatives at the Children's Institute in Portland, Oregon. Here, I design and implement communication strategies to support and amplify our team's work in advancing equity in early childhood education.
My design journey began at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Mumbai, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Textile Design. It was there that I discovered a deep fascination with patterns and materials - curiosities that continue to shape my creative process today. Along the way I was humbled to receive recognition for both creative and academic excellence, including the Gold Medal and the Best Graduation Project and Display award, among others.
My platform, Advitiya by Aditi, named after the Sanskrit word for "second to none," is an extension of my personal brand and business I founded. It embodies my design philosophy - rooted in originality, empathy, and intent - and reflects how I approach everything I create.
Beyond the work, I’m a voracious reader, explorer of patterns and places, and ever-inspired by textiles, costumes, and the visual stories woven into everyday life.
Let's collaborate and create something 'Advitiya'!
